The Onoto Magna Plunger-Filler pen is a modern version of Onoto’s original pen made to George Sweetser’s 1905 patent for a self-filling, leak-proof fountain pen. The plunger-filler mechanism was innovative inasmuch as, before Sweetser’s invention, pens had to be filled with eye-droppers, or the like.
