Ideally, the cap can be posted to give that extra bit of length whilst writing, and a thoughtful touch is that the cap can be screwed to the top of the pen to keep it posted, just as it is screwed over the section to close.

Despite this reduction in size, the TWSBI Vac Mini ink capacity of 2.0ml is larger than you would expect from a smaller and lighter pen. And when you do need to refill, the vacuum filler plunger mechanism ensures that these refills are quick, clean and effortless.
