TWSBI Mini AL Blue Fountain Pen – a neat addition to the popular pocket sized piston filling fountain pen. Transparent crystal-clear barrel reveals the filling mechanism, a built-in piston-filler with a very smooth action, whilst also allowing an uninterrupted view of the ink level and colour. Chromed metal trim and pocket clip. TWSBI logo nicely finishes the top of the pen’s cap. Rubber o-ring on cap thread ensures an airtight seal to prevent ink drying out in the pen, whilst also ensuring that the cap is firmly attached when not in use.

The end of the barrel is threaded to allow secure posting of the cap on the back of the pen.

Can be used with the Diamond 50 Ink bottle

After 40 plus years as an OEM manufacturer for different global brands, Ta Shin Precision decided to start selling under their own brand, and thus TWSBI was born. TaShin Precision has over 40 years of experience in manufacturing with plastics and metals. Early products ranged from toy lego parts to high end writing instruments. This knowledge trickles down into every product TWSBI has to offer.

TWSBI have produced pens for other manufacturers for the past 40 years. They decided to make their own in 2009, and the TWSBI project was born. Pens were produced and, harnessing the power of social media, were improved and refined until there is little doubt that outstanding value for money piston and plunger filler pens available today. The pens all now feature nibs from Jowo, our favourite German nib manufacturers, TWSBI have been built with the enthusiast in mind, so each pen comes with a spanned to undo the back of the pen, allowing access to the filling mechanism for cleaning the pen and, of necessary, to allow it to be lubricated with silicon grease, which is provided. This is an option – in general use you won’t need to do this, but the option is there for those who want it! There are numerous excellent videos on the web giving details on this – try the TWSBI site at www.twsbi.com/blogs/tutorials.
