Write Here Ltd is a High Street shop in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY3 8SH, England.  We are a Limited Company, Registration number 05240322 and are VAT registered, number 840810842.  The website is a part of this business. 

The shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, and on Sundays and most UK Bank Holidays between 12.00 midday and 4.00 pm.  We are shut on Christmas day, Boxing Day and Easter Day.   Website queries will usually be dealt with Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm UK time.  We may not be able to respond to queries on Saturday and Sunday.

These terms and conditions are tailored to the website.

Security.  Our Payment Services Provider is Sagepay, which is fully PCI DSS compliant, as are we.  We are regularly monitored by Trustwave to ensure our website and procedures are secure.  We do not have access to your credit card details, but through Sagepay are able to confirm that transactions have taken place and, when necessary, process refunds.  We also accept payment through PayPal.

Other methods of Payment.  You may select “Pay Offline”.  Your options then are to pay by Bank Transfer to our account Write Here Ltd, sort code 555005, account number 55547699.  Please email us to confirm that payment has been made.  You may also pay by cheque.  Goods will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.  If you prefer not to enter your credit card details on the website, you may place the order, select “Pay Offline” and then call the shop to complete the credit card transaction over the phone. 

Privacy.  Details of your name, address and e-mail address, as well as details of transactions with us, are retained on the website – we need these records for both tax and administration purposes. 

We will NOT share your details with anyone else.

We will send you a copy of our newsletter, telling you of products and offers.  This is provided through Constant Contact, so if you decide you do not wish to receive it you can easily (and effectively) unsubscribe. 

We may also store information about you using cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer or other access device) which we can access when you visit our site in future. We do this to improve your experience of the website.  If you want to delete any cookies that are already on your computer, please refer to the instructions for your file management software to locate the file or directory that stores cookies.  Information on deleting or controlling cookies is available at www.AboutCookies.org. Please note that by deleting our cookies or disabling future cookies you may not be able to access certain areas or features of our site.

Your Order.  Almost all orders will be fulfilled from stock.  If there might be a delay, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity – at the latest, the next working day.

Delivery    If your order is placed before 3pm, we will post your package that day, subject to the items ordered being in stock. In the event that the item is not in stock, we will contact you at the earliest opportunity the next working day.

Postage and packing will be charged at the following rates:

Orders under £20 have a standard delivery charge of £1.50, and will be dispatched within 1-2 working days using Royal Mail 2nd Class post. Typically, they will take 2-3 days to be delivered.

If you choose Signed for 1st Class post, at a charge of £4.00, the order will usually arrive the next day and will need to be signed for.  This is a tracked service.  Special Delivery guarantees delivery the following day, and is a fully tracked and signed for service.

Orders of £20 and above will be sent free by standard delivery.  There is a £2 charge for Ist Class, signed for post, and £5.95 for Special Delivery.

Orders over £100 will be delivered by Signed for Next Working Day Delivery where possible, provided the order is placed before 3pm for Monday – Thursday.  Special Delivery is £5.95.

Customers will receive emails notifying that orders have been dispatched.

Our International Delivery charges are based on the value of your order and all International orders are sent with Royal Mail International Delivery signed for services. Delivery on these items can take up to 10 working days from dispatch. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes outside the UK.

Returns   You may return products purchased from us within 30 days of the date of purchase, providing they are returned as sold, unused and in their original condition.  You will be responsible for the costs of postage. We will refund the cost of the items in full (but not our postage costs) on their return in good condition.  You must ensure that they are appropriately wrapped, have the correct postage and are insured.  We would recommend that you use “signed for” post.  Goods that have been engraved or otherwise customised at your request cannot be returned unless they are faulty.  

If you are sent an item that is not what you ordered or is faulty we will either replace it with the correct item, or refund its cost plus the cost of postage.  We will pay for the postage back to us - please call us on 01743-245950 between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Saturday or email sales@writeherepens.co.uk to request a prepaid UK return label.  For international orders, we will refund postage costs up to those incurred with the original order.
