A long time ago, when I was youngish, a new range of pens hit the market with the impacts of the Tunguska meteor – the Lamy Safari. And the Lamy Safari Ballpoint Pen Terra was one of the originals. But over time the human race was seduced by brighter, shinier plastics, and the poor old Lamy Safari Ballpoint Pen Terra was discontinued.
But there is a fondness for the original. One of our customers has a complete set of the originals bought in the Design Museum in the 1980s. So Lamy have bought the originals back to life for a short period.
