Conway Stewart The Seamus Heaney
Conway Stewart The Seamus Heaney Fountain Pen
The Conway Stewart The Seamus Heaney fountain pen is based on an earlier pen model, the Series 58, one of Conway Stewarts classics. The dark almost black and light greens of the resin accompanied with the gold trim of the bands, lever and clip truly make this pen beautiful. Engraved on the barrel is the Conway Stewart logo with the words “The Seamus Heaney Pen” and the edition number below. It is slightly smaller than some modern pens, made for practicality as it tucks neatly away in any pocket and still fits perfectly in the hand with the added cap.
Seamus Heaney was an Irish poet, playwright, translator and a Nobel Prize winner in Literature. His twelfth and final poetry collection published in 2010 called “Human Chain” contains the poem on his Conway Stewart fountain pen.
This is a limited edition of 250 fountain pens is to celebrate the poem “The Conway Stewart” by Seamus Heaney. Conway Stewart have designed it as close to the one described in the poem, with a lever -fill, the 3 gold bands on the cap, and you can even choose it with a “Medium 14-carat nib” for that true authenticity.
