During Springtime on the coast of Toyama district a beautiful spectacle of nature can be observed in certain places around the world. Toyama is one of those places, and this is the name of the new collection form Kaweco. The water is illuminated by a blue sheen due to bioluminescence and is caused by light-emitting creatures in the sea. In Toyama, the bioluminescence is created by the firefly squid, which congrgates in great numbers creating thousands upon thousands of points of light, making a captivating spectacle upon the water surface.  This is reflected in the high-quality plastic of this fountain pen.

Depending on the particular light irradiation, the pearly pigments in the Kaweco COLLECTION Toyama Teal sparkle more or less intensively. The overall design is completed by silver elements. In addition, we have added the special effect to the cardboard box, giving it the look of shimmering waves of water.
