This manufacturer does demonstrators very well, and the TWSBI Diamond 580 AL fountain pen is no exception.

The cap and barrel of the pen are completely transparent, revealing the pump-action filler clearly. The clear barrel also enables you to see how much ink you have left at a glance, so you will never have the pen run dry on you in an emergency! The lower end of the barrel, just above the screw-thread, features a rubbery (plastic) O-ring that forms an air-tight seal to keep the nib and section moist when not in use.

The “Diamond” part of the TWSBI Diamond 580AL fountain pen’s name comes from the multi-faceted barrel that (within limits, obviously) ensures that pen will not roll away if left uncapped on a desk. Capped, the clip obviously prevents the pen heading towards the edge of the desk and nib-oblivion on the floor.

The TWSBI 580AL is fitted with a beautiful Jowo polished steel nib engraved with TWSBI logo and branding, available in Extra-Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub 1.1mm.
