Sailors iconic 1911 Large Fountain pen is undoubtably a classic from the highly regarded luxury stationary manufacturer. When the pen fist launched in 2011 it was to celebrate the centenary of sailors founding but since then the 1911 has gone on to be an icon in its own right, with a classically inspired cigar shape the pen is excellently constructed following Sailors long history of top quality manufacturing. this set of limited edition pens from Sailor each feature a stunning Yuubi Maki-e design which has been printed onto the pen and then hand finished to achieve the iconic maki-e look. The metal trim of the pen has been completed with a gold plating to compliment the navy body of the pen and features one of sailors world renowned 14ct gold nibs.

Sailor have created their Ninja Series to celebrate the history of Japan’s most mysterious and iconic figures. and with the second series of ninja pens they’ve decided to focus on the weapons that were utilised by the ninja throughout their history. The Kusarigama is one of the Ninjas most unique weapons, featuring a heavy weight on the end of a chain, attached to a small sickle. the weighted chain would be thrown forwards and used to ensnare an opponent’s weapon and disarm them.
