Made with an ebonite body the deep glossy colour of the pen has been achieved with Urishi Lacquering, This highly skilled technique uses material havested from the sap of a tree that grows only in Asia and relies on building many thin layers of Lacquer over the body of the pen in order to create a smooth and shiny surface, the craft has been in practice throughout history for at leas 7000 years and due to the complex and time consuming process of applying the lacquer each pen can take months to craft. This meticulous process and flawless attention to detail results in a unique finish unlike anything else.

The deep blue Urushi lacquer features on both the pen’s body and cap, accompanied by an 18ct gold trim on the four rings, as well as the pens Iconic Namiki clip.

The pen is presented in a wooden gift box, converter included.
