Designed by Leonardo as a testament to the craftsmanship and artistry that goes into making Italian fountain pens, The Pura strikes a balance between intelligent and precise design and bold colourful aesthetics, this new set of 3 exciting colours is the perfect addition to the range, featuring a unique frosted finish.

Based of the same shape as the Momento  Zero Grande Leonardo have reimagined their oversized fountain pen as a translucent demonstrator, finished with a frosted surface. The subtle translucency enhances the deep red colour of the resin, giving it an extra depth and character as light diffuses through the material. The Feint form of the piston mechanisms that work inside the pen are hinted at through the material, a combination of design and function. This new collection of Leonardo’s Pura  pens feature a unique cap band, thicker than the typical tri-ring bands of the Momento Zero Grande and with a precise three dimensional geometric design that has been delicately carved with a pantograph machine.

Red has always been a colour that speaks to the Italian sense of passion and beauty. The deep red pairs wonderfully with each of the pen’s three trims and is perfect for anyone who’s looking for a writing tool that burns with as much passion as they do.

Available with Leonardo’s #6 La Fenice steel nib, in sizes from Extra fine to a 1.5mm stub nib, the pen can also be fitted with one of Leonardo’s new #8 steel nibs, or a 14ct #8 gold nib
