A symbol of prophetic power and everlasting love, the Walnut tree was highly valued by the Ancient Greeks and Romans, not just for it’s seeds but for it’s wonderfully rich dark wood. in Italy the tree is often associated with the legendary ‘city of witches’ Benevento, where an ancient walnut tree was said to be a mythical meeting place for sorcerers and witches.

Made from a single piece of wood each pen preserves the unique character, colour and details of it’s living material. after being carefully turned the pen is sent to Sardinia where it is meticulously lacquered by hand, each layer being sanded down and polished to perfection, creating a glossy surface which perfectly captures the detail and beauty of the wooden material, when each pen is perfect they are returned to Germany and completed with a carefully weighted titanium section, as well as a carefully tuned nib, available in Stainless Steel, 14ct Gold, and Platinum.
