The Val Tiberina range was created as a tribute to the Tiber Valley, which which runs through the ancient land of Etruria. speckled with tall mountains and small fortified villages it is this rocky and geometric landscape that this pen embodies.
Described by Stipula as “non-colour” the Nero di Catenaia features a dark black body which has been brushed to achieve a perfect matte finish, with metal trim finished in ruthenium for a gunmetal finish to the cap and clip, both of which are chiseled in a Florentine goldsmith style.
The 14ct gold Flex Nib is produced entirely in Florence by Stipula’s master craftsmen, laminated and treated to ensure the highest level of elasticity in the writing.
