Inspired by the dual nature of trees, both as a moving, living object, and a static immobile part of a landscape, Scribo have created two new pens, Resina and Corteccia, embodying motion and stillness and coming together to form a whole.
Scribo Feel Resina captures the flowing lifeblood that moves throughout every part of the tree, the essence that creates the natural motion of these ancient plants and presents itself as brilliant amber sap and resin, emerging from beneath the tree’s bark with liquid energy. Assuming this deep amber hue the Resina captures the very essence of this motion, light subtly shifts as it plays off the faceted surface of the pen, and the translucency of the material gives the pen an almost organic depth.
This pen is limited to only 188 pieces worldwide, accompanied by a bright Ruthenium trim to give a little extra touch of modernity to the design. The pen comes in a presentation / gift box with its own canvas and leather pen pouch, and is fitted with one of Scribo’s world class nibs.
