Nova Stella, or New Star has been inspired by the verse of Dante’s inferno in which Ulysses sets forth on his final voyage, driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge he crosses beyond the boundries of the known world, leaving the stars of the Northen hemisphere to set on the Horizon, leaving room for new stars never before observed by Sailors.
This stellar vista is created with a semi-transparent black resin, that’s speckled with swirling white and brown spots coming together to form a scene of distant stars. available with either a shining silver trim, or a soft warm rose gold trim, the subtle shift in warmth allows the pen to take on a whole new look
Each trim of the pen has been limited to only 133 pieces worldwide, as it is precisely in verse 133 of the poem that Ulysses recounts the appearance of an unknown mountain The pen comes in a presentation / gift box with its own canvas and leather pen pouch, and is fitted with one of Scribo’s world class nibs.
