Sailor Yu-Nami Limited Edition Fountain Pen

The Sailor Yu-Nami fountain pen is a beautiful example of urushi-e art, a process that involves the painstaking building up of layer-upon-layer of transparent lacquer in various shades. Understandably, this is a limited edition pen. This design was created by the renowned Urushi artist, Kurotobi-san, and represents the colours of the setting sun as it shines upon the surf on breaking waves.

This is a large pen, based upon the King of Pen, so the Sailor Yu-Nami fountain pen has a good presence in the hand whilst writing. The beautiful artwork of the cap and barrel are complemented by the beautiful Sailor 21 carat gold nib, which is available in Medium or Broad.

Only 33 of these pens will be made.
