Sailor Uchu Limited Edition Fountain Pen

The Sailor Uchu Limited Edition fountain pen is a beautiful evocation of the colours of the night sky, reminiscent of the gorgeous photographs of deep space sent back to us by the Hubble telescope. Kurotobi-san, a celebrate Maki-E ( 蒔絵 ) artist, has produced this limited edition of pens by the painstaking process of placing small flecks of coloured enamel, mother-of-pearl and precious metals onto the wet lacquer surface of the pen, then sealing them in with another transparent layer of polished lacquer.

There will only ever be 33 Sailor Uchu fountain pens in this limited edition. As with all Sailor pens, he cap is a screw-fitting. The Sailor Uchu is supplied with Sailor’s luxurious 21 carat gold nib, in Medium or Broad only.
