Sailor has partnered with the Satellite crayon project in order to create a series of limited edition fountain pens that are inspired by the colours of the earths oceans, as seen from space. Each pen has been colour matched to a specific location with the GPS location engraved on one side of the barrel and the logo for the Satellite crayon project engraved on the other.

For this series Sailor have produced their 1911 Profit Jr in three colours from the Satellite crayon project, This pens traditional cigar shape and low price point make it an ideal entry point for those looking to buy their first fountain pen, all while retaining Sailors high level of quality control and finish. comes in a gift set which includes a storage / presentation box and a 10ml bottle of ink, which matches the colour of the pen.

Syvash is a region of shallow tidal wetlands on the bank of the Sea of Azov in Ukraine. The extremly high salt levels in the water create an enviroment in which algae thrive, producing large quantities of beta-carotene which tints the water a rich orange colour, from which this pens colouration is derived. the cap and barrel ends are an original colour created in the image of the Pink salt found nearby in the Crimean peninsula.

The Satellite crayon project donates a portion of its proceeds towards charitable causes, including supporting disaster relief efforts, in addition to this contribution from the Satellite crayon project sailor is also donating a percentage of profits from the sales of these limited edition pens to support the Hiroshima Prefectures GSHIP imitative, to clean up pollution within the Seto inland sea.
