The Ringless series are based on the 1911 Large fountain pen, with the removal of the cap band, giving a cleaner and more satisfying look, with the added benefit of ruthenium coated nib and appointments. It is a stunning black pen.
Sharing the basics of the 1911 range (named for the year of the company’s founding) the Sailor 1911 Blackout Ringless Fountain Pen has a screw on cap, a distinctive spring clip, uses the convenient cartridge conveerter filling system, and comes in four grades of the magnificent 21ct gold nib – F, M, B and Zoom.
