A number of pen companies have produced retractable fountain pens, and the Pilot LS Capless is a sophisticated addition to the Pilot range, thought by many to be the best. They’ve been making retractables since 1964, so can justifiably claim some rights to the territory.

Why LS?  Well, Luxury Silent works silently and easily.  It has a new action, retaining the classic button action to extend the nib – but smoothly, so smoothly.  To retract, you press a cam lobe under the button – you’ll get the hang of it – and the nib retracts – again, a silent and smooth action.  You’ll do it again and again just to enjoy it.

Pilot have enhanced the appearance of the pen.  A smart new clip, streamlined front end and beautifully engineered turbine pattern where the two halves of the body join.
