Pyrite, or as it’s perhaps better known ‘Fools Gold’, is famous for it’s bright luminous golden colour and intense sparkle, having tricked many miners and prospectors into thinking they’d struck it rich.

But there may be more to pyrite than meets the eye, often associated with Vitality, Protection, and confidence, and combined with it’s rich lustre it’s a sought after gemstone in its own right, and Pelikan had definitely managed to capture the beauty of it with their new Edelstein ink of the year. Featuring a bright shimmering golden colour which gives way to subtle grey undertones, it’s an elegant and bold ink which is sure to leave a lasting impression.
