As you may be aware, OMAS ceased trading in 2015. We have now sold the last of these pens.

Dedicated to the most refined and demanding man, the Noir Collection reinterprets the dodecagonal Arte Italiana model, OMAS brand icon, through a play of contrasts which make it unique.

The black Cotton Resin is embellished with a fine guilloche engraving characterized by a rice grain pattern, which emphasizes the classical nature of this model and highlights the modernity of the Black Ruthenium trim, a novelty in OMAS production.

Classicism and modernity, past and future meld to a timeless object, handed down from one generation to the next always keeping its newness.

In 2013 OMAS certifies the following pieces:

-331 for piston filled fountain pen The Paragon model and converter/cartridge fountain pen, roller ball and ball point Milord models
-31 for mechanical pencil Milord model

Founded in 1925 by Armando Simoni in Bologna, Italy, Omas was one of the oldest and most respected pen brands in Italy until its closure in March 2016.
Simoni believed that “a pen should make writing pleasurable”, and the Company remained driven by this wish until its closure.
Grounded with a tradition reaching back nearly 90 years, Omas creations respected the past and looked forward to the future. Their peerless use of traditional materials – celluloid, cotton resin, wood and precious metals – and adventurous using titanium and Forged Carbon© - cutting edge materials set them apart from other manufacturers
The Icon ranges are the twelve sided Arte Italiana, the innovative 360, and the vibrant Bologna. But they regularly look back to the past for inspiration.
