Namiki Emperor Urushi Fountain Pen Black With Rings
A very large pen based on an ebonite body, embellished with black Urushi lacquer bought to a high shine through the use of the Roiro technique.
It is a Japanese style eyedropper, having an ink control valve that must be openned to allow extended writing. With an ink capacity of about 4ml, that would be quite extensive.
The nib is oversize, of 18 ct gold.and soft, offering line variation. It is available in Fine, Medium, Broad and Double Broad.
A great pen in all ways.
