- Montegrappa NeroUno Pure Brilliance Fountain Pen
- Product Details
The style of one hundred years of craftsmanship and the soul of an entire country come together in the design of Montegrappa NeroUno. The elegance of NeroUno lies in its minimalist simplicity, while the details echo the typical features of Montegrappa in a modern key: the clip with the small rotating sphere and the typical octagonal shape, emphasised by the original cap top and combined with the innovative design of the 18K gold nib.
The stark modernism of the pen's body black body and palladium trim is contrasted by the indulgent sparkle of the Swarowski crystal around the top of the cap.
The nib is 18k gold, and the pen can used with cartridges or (using the included converter) bottled ink.
NeroUno Pure Brilliance, in precious black resin with platinum-plated finish and Swarowski crystal highlights, is available in fountain pen, rollerball pen, ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil versions.
In the same historical building since 1912, Montegrappa has been a part of the lives of great men, and it has also witnessed moments of intense creativity and innovative breakthroughs. Ernest Hemingway and John Dos Passos, both Red Cross volunteer ambulance drivers during World War I, crossed the threshold of the original factory entrance on Via Cà Erizzo that was recently restored. That same entrance was among the first in Italy to see the arrival of celluloid, a precious material obtained from cotton that was already a protagonist of Montegrappa collections in the thirties.
