Leonardo Momento Magico Matte Black Fountain Pen Gold Nib

Inspired by the movies of the golden age of Italian cinema the Momento Magico draws inspiration from contemporary art as well as from the Ancient Greeks, with the cap is characterized by a central band perforated with a detail of the decorations belonging to the period known in the history of art as “geometric art” this movement lasted between 900BC and 700BC.

Designed with a bespoke piston filling system the Momento Magico can hold 1.5ml of ink, the momento magico takes inspiration from Leonardo’s other fantastic pens with its classic shape and fantastic range of resins, it features an ink window which is great for checking the fill level of the pen, and can be completely disassembled for easy servicing or repair.

This smooth matte black colour has been inspired by “Anima Nera” a classic Italian film where a man with a mysterious past gets married to escape it. An unexpected inheritance deteriorates the relationship between husband and wife resulting in a dark outcome. the Black resin pays homage to the films title which translates to “Dark Soul”

The gold nibbed version of the pen comes with one of Leonardo’s Excellent 14ct gold nibs, complete with ebonite feed
