A long time ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth and rollerball pens were an exciting novelty, the Lamy Safari Rollerball Savannah was launched, the design was radical – unlike any pen that had come before. It was the first Safari!
Unfortunately, of the first three breeds – Savannah, Terra and Umber, the first two were driven to extinction by a fickle buying public.
But a memory of these early examples of the species lingered with the people. Lamy noticed this and decided, for a short time only, delve into their stocks of DNA and attempt to breed back to these original breeds.
They succeeded, and one of the results is the Lamy Safari Rollerball Savannah.
