A new Limited edition Al-star from Lamy is always a cause for celebration, and the Lamy Al-star Whitesilver Fountain Pen is no exception.  The colour comes from the aluminium of which it is made, refined to achieve the highest degree of metallic whiteness.  The result is a radiant, silvery white finish, with the polished chrome clip providing a bright contrast.

The Al-star is rightly regarded as one of the very best fountain pens.  The Z50 nib and feed does just what it should – delivering a steady, smooth, regular and dependable line on the page.  The triangular grip is positive and comfortable.  And the pen looks good!

You can use the Lamy T10 cartridge or bottled ink with the Z28 converter, which is not supplied.
