Named after its aluminium body, Lamy’s Al-Star is a more premium metal upgrade to the Safari, retaining all the great time tested features of its design, but with a more premium metal feel and finish, it comes with one of Lamy’s T10 Ink cartridges in washable blue, so you can get writing straight away, if you prefer to use bottled ink, then one of Lamy’s Z28 converters is a must
