Lamy Aion Dark Green Fountain Pen

The Lamy Aion Dark Green Fountain Pen is a reasonably priced showstopper.  Striking design by Jasper Morrison CBE, a brilliant British designer, it looks good, feels good and writes well.

Well, it’s a Lamy.  So it writes perfectly.  Always.  And it may just be me, but I think the nib has a bit more life to it than the impeccable standard Lamy steel nib, which I didn’t believe could be bettered until I tried this.

The Lamy Aion Dark Green Fountain Pen is made from a single bar of Aluminium, while it is light it has, got reasonable heft.  It is metal, and feels indestructible.

The look is what you’d expect of a top designer: looks great and works perfectly.  The shape is good to look at and to hold, and the textured section feels just right.

The Z27 converter sets you free to use whatever colour ink you like.
