Lamy 2000 Fountain Pen Blackwood
Made from the wood of the African Blackwood tree Lamy’s 2000 blackwood ballpoint has been a much loved part of their range for some time now, and to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Lamy’s Iconic fountain pen it has been made available as a fountain pen for the first time.
The brushed palladium fittings are nicely accompanied by the blackwood barrel, which has a smooth and dense feel to it making it a little weightier in the hand than the Makrolon version of the pen.
Designed with a 14ct gold hooded nib the Lamy 2000 is a masterclass in fountain pen design, combining iconic Bauhaus forms with Lamy’s decades of fountain pen manufacturing expertise to create a pen that remains and enduring favourite, only improved by the passage of time.
