The Graf von Faber Castell Pocket Pencil is small – but perfectly formed. The smallest (modern) pencil we’ve seen, the are beautifully designed, made and finshed.

The Graf von Faber Castell Pocket Mechanical Pencil uses the ubiquitous 0.7 lead – although you may have to shorten refills.  The lead extends and retracts using a smooth twist action, actuated by turning the lower part of the cap when posted. (if you twist the eraser cover, it will not turn the cap.).  It’s a quite unusuall design as caped mechanical pencils are quite rare.

The cap uses a clever hidden screw thread to securely close the pen or, at the other end, post the cap.  The top of the cap pulls off to reveal a useful eraser.
