WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept most major credit and debit cards. These payments are processed by Sagepay. We now also accept PayPal.
Credit/ Debit Card including- Delta, Mastercard, Solo, Maestro, Visa and Visa Election
Cash. We can also take card payments over the phone during 9:30am and 5.30pm – Monday to Saturday
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO GET MY ORDER?
Most items are available from stock for immediate dispatch. We will generally send orders received before 3.00 p.m. Monday to Friday that afternoon. If for any reason we cannot dispatch your order we will notify you by telephone and / or email. You will be given the opportunity to cancel and have an immediate refund, or we will give you an expected date of dispatch.
WHAT ARE YOUR POSTAGE CHARGES?
Orders under £20 have a standard delivery charge of £1.50, and will be dispatched within 1-2 working days using Royal Mail 2nd Class post. Typically, they will take 2-3 days to be delivered.
If you choose Signed for 1st Class post, at a charge of £4.00, the order will usually arrive the next day and will need to be signed for. This is a tracked service. Special Delivery guarantees delivery the following day, and is a fully tracked and signed for service.
Orders between £20 and £99.99 will be sent free by standard delivery. There is a £2 charge for Ist Class signed for post and £5.95 for Special Delivery.
Orders over £100 will be delivered by Signed for Next Working Day Delivery where possible, provided the order is placed before 3pm for Monday – Thursday. Special Delivery is £5.95.
Our International Delivery charges are based on the value of your order and all International orders are sent with Royal Mail International Delivery signed for services. Delivery on these items can take up to 10 working days from dispatch. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes outside the UK.
CAN I RETURN AN ITEM?
If you wish to return goods, please repack them securely in their original packaging and post them back to us at:

Please do this within 7 days of receipt – call us if this is difficult.
If the goods were faulty, or not the goods you ordered, we will refund their cost plus the cost of postage. We will also offer you the choice of a replacement item.
If you have changed your mind about the purchase, we will refund the cost but not postage costs. Goods must be returned unopened and as new.
PEN REPAIR SERVICES
If you have a damaged fountain pen, and would like advice on how to resolve the problem, then give us a call. We offer our customers a first class fountain pen repair and refurbishment service for much loved fountain pens in need of a little care and attention. If your pen has a bent nib, or you’re having a problem with loading the ink, there is a good chance that we will be able to help to fix it either instore or by liasing with the manufacturer. If you’d like to know more about our fountain pen repair service and how we can help to resolve any issues you may be having, call the shop or send us an email.
We can give you expert advice on what’s best for your damaged pens – whether you’re having problems with nibs or your pen just needs a bit of love and attention, we can point you in the right direction or arrange for a pen repair with our experienced repair specialist.
There are a few questions to ponder when you think there is something wrong with your pen…
Are you using good writing technique?
Are you using suitable paper?
Do you fill the pen correctly, and with the proper kind of ink?
Do you cap the pen correctly after use?
Have you cleaned the pen lately?
There are a few different categories of problems you may have with you pen…
Skipping (point intermittently dries up and won’t write)
Flooding (point consistently lays down too much ink)
Poor starting (pen won’t write on the first few strokes)
Blotting (pen periodically lets out huge drops or blots of ink during writing)
Scratchy point (feels like you are scratching holes in the paper)
Needs to be refilled too frequently
Leaks into the cap (or elsewhere)
