Esterbrook x Accutron Estie Spaceview Fountain Pen
Inspired by Accutron’s Famous Spaceview, Esterbrook have partnered with the watchmakers to create a new Estie, inspired by the same design ethos that has made the Watch such an iconic item.
Originally designed in the 1960’s the Spaceview was created as a demonstration model, showcasing the internal mechanisms of watch, usually hidden away, and creating beauty from the engineering itself. The Spaceview Estie is Esterbrooks first transparent demonstrator pen, made from a clear polished acrylic it showcases the inner workings of the pen, such as the filling system, threads, and internal connections. These normally hidden components of the pen become essential to its appeal and look. the visible green section and golden trim further highlight the connection with the Spaceview watch, The pen also features Accutron’s logo throughout, set into the top of the cap, as well as being engraved onto the nib.
As with many of Esterbrooks pens the attention to detail doesn’t stop with the design of the pen and also extends to its packaging, featuring a custom gift box with a cut out window to showcase the pen.
