An interesting collaboration between stationary and art. This creative design by Caran d’Ache and Keith Haring has come together for their shared values in celebrating love and art.

The Caran d’Aache 849 is a modern classic, well know in both ballpoint and pencil. This legend design was first introduced on the market in 1969 and even now decades later is still just as popular.

It’s signature hexagonal body and angled straight clip makes this ballpoint stand out. Made out of durable aluminium, the pen is lightweight and easy to grip, giving a smooth write. For the special edition black, the entire barrel is black and adorned with white illustrations, both clip and clicker mechanism have a simple yet complementary chrome trim.

Keith Haring’s artwork was heavily inspired by New York’s graffiti, from white chalk on the subway to paintings on public buildings.
