Asheras mission to create fountain pens that are both luxurious and sustainable has lead to the creature of the Oleatus, a pen that combines both natural and man made materials, a celebration of the craftsmanship of both the people who assemble these fine writing implements and the natural processes that produce the unique colourful and varied materials that are essential to their form.
Made from a single piece of Karelian birch, this piece of wood is carefully turned, finished with a protective oil coating and transformed into the cap and barrel of the pen. the remaining components of the pen have been made from titanium, chosen for its lightness and durability, Ashera have designed the Oleatus to withstand decades worth of daily use, a pen that can stand the test of time and be passed on as a treasured heirloom
Each of Ashera’s fountain pens has been appointed with a finely tuned fountain pen nib, available in Fine or medium sizes, and in a choice of materials, Stainless Steal, 14ct gold, or Platinum.
