Fortunately (since we rather like them) they became of wider popularity, and manufacturers have put them into general production. The Sailor 1911 Classic Transparent Demonstrator Fountain Pen is a beautiful example of such pens, showing all the quality that we have come to expect from a writing instrument made in Japan.
The Sailor 1911 Classic Transparent Demonstrator Fountain Pen is fitted with a 14 carat gold nib, available in Fine, Medium or Broad, and can use cartridges, or bottled ink by means of the cartridge converter that is supplied with all Sailor pens. The accompaniments of these pens are either plated in gold or rhodium, in which latter case the nib is also washed to match.
