Omas Art Deco Limited Edition Fountain Pen

A true homage to the fabulous Thirties, the decade that marked significantly the history of OMAS.
During this period, OMAS small workshop was transformed in a world famous company.
The twelve-sided model Arte Italiana is one of the great success stories of OMAS and has become unquestionably a classic in the fine writing instruments field.
The Arte Italiana Art Déco Collection name comes from the design style Art Déco which influenced massively the stylish and expressive choices of the 1930s.
The Arte Italiana Art Déco Collection comes in two versions: a Certified Edition along with a Limited Edition, both handmade following the OMAS ancient tradition.
The Limited Edition, available in piston-filled fountain pen only, is the perfect marriage of OMAS tradition and modernity. Based on the historical model The Paragon, the Limited Edition is embellished with an uncommon pearl grey cotton resin, along with an elegant and stunning guilloche engraving. This engraving is a classical pattern of the Thirties that has been reproduced on both cap and barrel. These details bestow to the Limited Edition a modern, unique and yet sophisticated style. The Limited Edition is adorned with the historical OMAS greek fret on both cap and section, with a precious onyx wheel fitted on the clip. Finishes include a Firenze yellow gold which is a very elegant and light golden hue; the 18kt gold nib is embellished with a arrowhead OMAS engraving.
The number 1.931 commemorates the year of creation of the first Arte Italiana model and epitomizes the Arte Italiana Art Déco Collection: 931 pieces for the Limited Edition.
