Diamine - Other

We stock the full range of Diamine’s wonderful inks that will enhance the use of any fountain pen. Diamine manufacture a wide variety of inks, in a wide variety of colours that allow your expressive nature full rein.

There are a couple of inks that Diamine produce which we would issue health-warnings about, however. We wouldn’t recommend filling your favourite fountain pen with their shimmering range and leaving it untouched for months (although why you’d leave your favourite fountain pen untouched for months is a mystery your humble correspondent cannot fathom) unless you’re confident about taking it to bits to wash out the shimmery sparkles – though we at Write Here can do that for you if you get stuck.

The other Diamine ink that we really would recommend that you definitely don’t put in your favourite fountain pen are their range of calligraphy inks. These are intended for use with brushes and dipping pens – which also need a thorough wash after use – but if you put calligraphy ink in a fountain pen, we guarantee that there’ll be tears before bedtime.
